Starting a new army, primarily to get something nice and new to paint: Now I have found how i want them to look: web.me.com/darkeyestudios/Jay/Nurgle_Plague_Marine_Aspiring_Champions.htmlThe question is now: Which paints do you think has been used and in which order have they been applied..? I have tried contacting the good Jay, but he hasn't replied me sadly..:/ So now does anybody have any good ideas..? Thanks in advance.. Kras..

Base in white, flesh in elf flesh and then wash into deeper colours, use dull colours for every thing except the white. I'm no painting expert so hopefully someone good can give you something better to go on, but here's a start.

Well as far as i can see, the white armour looks the following. -basecoat of snakebite leather (the brown edges) -block in white -grey wash -highlight white -repeat untill happy.
The green looks like the following
- foundation paint gretchin green - make a wash of catachan green -highlight rotting flesh
Skin look like -elf flesh -devlan mud - highlight with elf flesh mixed with some white.
metal
-boltgun metal -a reddish brown for the rust streaks (perhaps dark flesh with some added white?? - hawk turqouise wash - chainmail highlight
Don't know if it's all correct, but it's what i make of it.

Id base in a mid grey (1:1 codex/fortress grey) , give it a brown wash and work up through grey to white. Id do the green as petercooman123 suggests. As for the metal, I'd go boltgun, badab black, watered down dark flesh, highlight boltgun (scratches) and chainmail (fresh scratches) I think I'd do all the non white bits first after the grey (get messy with the washes!!) and then sort the white out. Id recommend doing a test mini though and finding something that works for you

I'm actually painting a chaos marine backpack with wings up for you while i'm painting my stuff. i'll post a pick later edit: here it is. The white is painted by 3ff3cts description, although i just drybrushed to go faster. ( it's just to give you a main view) the green was done using my description, but gretchin green was replaced by camo green as i didn't have any. Don't take notice of the sloppines, i did between painting ruins so ...
