Looking real good. Loving the after burner effect. What did you do to create that. I was wondering about how I was going to do that on my Valk.

And here was me thinking I'd upset someone..... For the Valks afterbunner effect I first drybrushed Chaos Black (or whatever its gonna be called now....) then with a very dry brush i added some Scorched Brown around the edges of the black. Then finally added some Tin Bitz around the hard edges. Fairly easy its just trying to not got too overboard with the Chaos Black For the engine and cowling, it started off with Chaos Black U/C then a thinish layer of Boltgun Metal, followed by a heavy wash of Devlan Mud and then a thinner (50/50 H2o) wash of Badab Black. Next is a drybrushing of Chaos Black around the back of the engines and vents and then a drybrushing of Tin Bits all over. Next is more drybrushing of Chainmail Silver to pick out the highlights followed by some Burnished Gold across the vents....... easy! Anyhow, have added some more shots from my current build and one of my Executioner from my previous army Hellhound/Banewolf/Devil Dog The next Valkyrie interior WIP Executioner Enjoy Danger Rod

Thanks for the comments guys WOW! air brushed or brush? That would be the good old standard issue paint applicator with bristles......otherwise known as a paint brush Takes quite a bit of concentration and layers to build up a fairly smooth finish

Was planning on doing some troops this looong weekend, but I'm still not sure on the troop colours...
So after 4 test models last night I'm going to venture off to my local GW and get some of the new paints...
wish me luck! (cuz the wife is away and I have a CC....... this could get messy)
As for the weathering effects, on the next Valk I will do a step by step photo guide thingy

Very nice work. That chimera has seem some S**T lol. After todays game, theirs even more damage! (game wise, not model) Really wanted to show that the army has been in conflict for a long campaign, I think i may have overdone it a little.... Danger Rod
