Man your colour scheme is original and quite unlike anything I've ever seen. The vehicles look great and the infantry is specialised; Fair play

tell me, is there a reason you left the 2 cockpit supports on the sentinal? Maybe it's not finished yet? There's no pilot in there so maybe he's doing it separately and is going to pop it in afterwards? I hope you're painting something big and shooty for GGX anyway  |

Hey all, update time.... @ Ivory, mainly veterans. See page one for how i got the burnt ochre effect @ 3ff3ct, was planning something for GGX, but I'm too busy atm to get anything big done Just thought i would post some pics of how the troops are coming along, slowly working my way the squads, just got a delivery of some FW parts (ahhh resin!!) Got plenty of heads to do. I should have a heaps of extra FW parts that I'm not gonna get to use (this time) Keep an eye out on the trading section! Hey this stuff looks really good and I really like your plasma, and although it was a while back, your vehicle details too! Plus the very fine use of basing grass in areas looks really good; so simple but so effective. Can't wait to see some more!

Thanks for the comments guys, kinda saving the drop troops for a bit (as a treat) want to finish all the other troops first
As for the plasma its quite simply Necron Abyss, with a Asurmen Blue Wash then ligthly highlighted with Ice blue working from the centre outwards
Just working on some scenery atm, pics to follow

I would have said red, as it would tie in with your targeting...blob... thing. White would look cooler than silver though, as long as you put a few chips on it |

I'm leaning more towards white now as well, although with no chips as I want the SE's too look as if they have just been loaded onto an well used Manticore
My only concern is that I don't want the Manticore to stand out too much as a target.....and four BIG A S S White tipped missiles may just stand out too much..

Another update... A few shots of my next little project, my new Leman Russ Vanquisher First off is a shot of the first basecoat of Rakarth Flesh (without turret obviously...)   Second coat of Desert yellow (fairly thin coat)   Oh, and I have almost (99%) finished this....     Thats it for now, will update a with a few more progress shots tomorrow Danger Rod |

Another rather large update, had some good painting time today... After a heavy Agrax Earthshade wash  First drybrushing 50/50 Desert Yellow and Kommando Khaki  Second drybrushing with kommando Khaki  Sponging on some Chaos Black  Going over the Chaos black with Boltgun metal being careful to leave some black visible  Adding some Boltgun Metal and other details   Really adding on the layers of dirt and grime with spots of Reikland Fleshshade, Nuln Oil and drybrushing Dryard Bark. Plus adding some more fine details  This is how it stands this evening, hopefully should get it finished tomorrow night   Hope all enjoyed Danger Rod |

Ok, Another update Been working on a Vendetta conversion lately. I had an issue with some GW thick glue earlier in the year, where the glue wasnt bonding correctly and becoming very brittle after a few months. After complaining and getting some replacement glue, I've finally got round to re-gluing the Valk and converting it to a Vendetta. The underwing T/L Lascannons were made using the Stormravens Lascannons and fit nicely on the wing mounts. The hull Lascannons are two chopped Lascannons from the HWT boxset. Still needs a few finishing touches, but its getting there! Vendetta     Psyker Battle Squad Made with Empire Flagellants and spare IG parts       Comments welcome Danger Rod |
