As title, how would you guys play a ordnance weapon with rending..? Is it if either of the 2 dice to penetrate is a 6'..?
This is how i'd play it.. But i havn't encountered this rule combo before..
So any ideas..?
Cheers
Kras..

Well if i'm correct, you roll two and choose the best, so if it has rending, it would be on any roll, as they are treated separatly. You never add up the two dice, you just choose the best, so you can assume that each dice has the same abilities linked to them, as it is only the best that comes trough. ( consider it like a reroll where you can pick the result you like most) Seems the most obvious to me, so i would let you do that

Ohh I am 100% aware of the rules regarding both rending and ordnance Peter, don't worry:)
But yes i would play it the same way as you mention, and it does seem like the most obvious way to understand the combo..

If it's more than 1D6 for penetration, then it's another D3 for each die that rolls a six, Main Rulebook FAQ, but as petercooman said you choose the best of the 2 dice, not add them together.

I can't really think of any other reasonable way to play it. If the higher of the two dice is a 6, you get your extra d3.
