Please excuse the crappiness of the picture... my camera only had enough battery to take pictures.. no flash! The little green bush / tree / flower is a rubberised plasticy sort of thing, so it bends, squashes, bounces and doesn't lose shape or break. It comes pre-coloured, so no need to paint it (unless you don't like green plant with white flower). I packed mine away all squashed in a ox and the just sprung back out with no worries. and... you get 100.. yes One Hundred of them for 7 quid. They are reptile matting for snakes and other scaley critters. (you can get similar stuff for fish, but it has less detail and is more expensive). It took a little while to cut them out of the matt (with normal scisors) and I stuck mine to some cardboard (though a baseboard with a penny stuck to its underside would have been a beetter call - this would stop them being quite so light, though we got quite drunk last game and they weren't an issue despite clumsiness, and any accidental knocking over is made up for in the fact they counce so well!). I have made around 25 seperate trees so far and feel it is enough for a 6 x 4 table.. so until apoc comes along or I want to get really Catachan these will do. (I'll probably give some spare ones to my mates).

Cool tree's but I'm a little concerned how you got it in and out of the ox without getting kicked in the nards?

I'll have to look into that. Found something like that in the aquarium section which works rather well, but if this is cheaper I want it.

Those are awesome! Now that I can see the detail better. Who here has the nads to build an entire table covered in these? Hello Death World!

Ok, clearly we have a language difference. I asked for "reptile matting" at my Petsmart and got ... a mat. Basically a flat sponge, that I could maybe make hedges out of but not much else. In the US these are apparently known as "plant mats." I guess the aquarium aisle is my best bet. I have bought this sort of thing there before. Here's the reptile version, but it's still fairly expensive in comparison to the OP: www.petsmart.com/product/zoom/index.jsp?productId=3970720Incidentally, I don't break mine into individual "bushes"; I cut them into sections of different shapes and sizes and use them for area terrain. They stand up better too, and you can still wedge figures into them. I got the idea from the old Catachan codex. Another, significantly more expensive option that I've considered but haven't the money to spend is aquarium trees. These are plastic rocks and wood with the green plastic leaves already stuck into them: www.petsmart.com/product/zoom/index.jsp?productId=11147131www.petsmart.com/product/zoom/index.jsp?productId=11147116www.petsmart.com/product/zoom/index.jsp?productId=4368177They are realistic looking and just the right size to tower over Guardsmen, but are about 15 dollars apiece or more. On the other hand, they're pre-painted...
