This is as off topic as it gets...
Does anyone else feel a small thrill when people actually type out your username in a post? No matter what the context, I always feel a small jolt of pride when I see DadCRO written in a post.
I know this is a really weird topic, but you know, food for thought.

Actually, Today is as off topic as it gets DadCRO. In fact, it's so off topic, it's on topic again.
Edit: I should probably add an on topic comment...it is nice to get mentioned. Makes you feel all proud that someone acknowledged the madness or bit of insight you just had.
Or both.

Yeah, it's definitely a thing.
It gets kicked up a notch when someone recommends that someone else follow my advice. It's been a few years now since that first happened and it still feels weird every time.

yeah, your avatar inspired me to do my own joker faced squad, which became an elite penal legion, each face different, from the 'scream killer face, joker, zombie, skull, tiger, etc.' gave you credit in my army post as well.

Generally mine is followed by disgust or taunts. It gets pretty old but sometimes there's a few good compliments in them.

This thread concept is heretical.

It is much weirder when they use my given name...sometimes it is pleasant though. Ymm is nice, I've only been called that a couple times and I kind of liked it...not sure I would if it caught on though. This thread concept is heretical. It is an ominous title, almost a challenge... We'll see how off topic as off topic as it gets! I predict fire and violence.

None uses my name. I am happy to keep as such. Who I really am is a government secret.

I predict the four horsemen of the apocalypse riding porkypines, charging into an infinite wave of satanic ponies! This man has his heart in the right place...porcupine mounts are OK in my book. Perhaps you ought to wear pants though...just this once.

well, my allegiance has not been made to either the pro or anti-pants party. As of now, I'm still neutral and unsure of my pants or no pants preference. Though in this instance, I think pants are definitely the way to go

Yeah, it's definitely a thing. It gets kicked up a notch when someone recommends that someone else follow my advice. It's been a few years now since that first happened and it still feels weird every time. I mention you nearly every time I respond to army lists. To be fair I also mention McCapt and Kasmirova as well. I also love reading my username in text. Bring a smile to my face each time.
