Tulio Panagos lived a peaceful life on the Hive world of Armageddon (well, relatively peaceful for a hiver living a scant 3 levels above the limits of the underhive) until the First War for Armageddon. Hailing from Hive Helsreach, Tulio volunteered into the PDF and took part in the banishing of Angron. He fought with dogged determination, ignoring the deaths of his childhood friends and continuing to blast through as many heretics as possible.
Tulio's story would have ended here, as his position was over-run by gibbering cultists and mutants, were it not for the Space Wolves' intervention. A counter-push made by a couple of packs of skyclaws tore into the position, not expecting to find survivors. Imagine their surprise when after tearing through ranks of heretics to find a scrawny-seeming teenager going one on one with a mutant with tentacle for arms without faltering. The last of the heretics in the area died under the gaze of the Space Wolves when Tulio cut away one of the tentacles and beat the mutant to death with it, screaming intelligible oaths to the Emperor. Suitably impressed, the skyclaw packs took him with them to Logan Grimnar himself, who happened to be in a meeting with a conclave of Hereticus Inquisitors. It was at that fateful gathering that the combatants of the final battle in the First War were cleansed and put into labour camps. One of the Inquisitors, however, struck a deal with the Space Marine captain, and took Tulio off world despite the decree against it.
Tulio was put through rigorous testing, to check if any taint remained, or if there was anything wrong with him. All the testing found was a 17 year old male with a burning hatred for anything dedicated to the Blood God. He was transferred into Lord Inquisitor Flavion's retinue, and has served with quiet distinction since.
Before that nameless Inquisitor took Tulio off world, the skyclaw packs that found him hunted him down. To show their appreciation of his battle skill, they named him "friend of the Chapter," and an exquisite pair of power knives in memory of the pair used to slay the mutant.

Warrior- Diego De Montfort
As a young man, Diego went through rigorous training to become a house guard for Noble House Xion, the ruling dynasty of the Primaris Hive on Bellerophon's third moon. He particularly excelled at bladed combat, and won countless accolades in the tournament arena against opponents from far and wide. His long sleek power sword, 'Dragonfang' was the envy of all and the comeuppance of many. His life was good and Diego was happy.
However, a small raiding party of Tzeentch worshiping cultists snuck into the system on a burned out space hulk. Amidst their vile ranks was a powerful chaos sorcerer. When they attacked Primaris Hive, they did so from the top down, using mind control to take over the house guards and turn them on their masters, thereby wiping out the ruling caste in one fell swoop. The Hive, leaderless surcame to rioting and despair, the perfect breeding ground for the Chaos insurrection. However of all the house guards, Diego proved resilient to the mind games. Not as natural psychic blunt, but through sheer force of will. He had been in the training room when the attack came and he had fought his way through the Sorcerer's minions to reach his lord. Yet he was too late, his lord had been eviscerated by the other house guards. Diego had failed in his duty. In a moment of sheer ferocity, he rampaged through the remaining chaos cultists, killing them all with swift expert cuts from Dragonfang. The sorcerer himself was separated from his head by Diego's final slice.
When the Ordos dispatched an Inquisitor to the hive to look into the incident, he was particularly interested in the House guard who had resisted the taint. After intensive testing, the inquisitor decided that Diego was not corrupted, but was impressed with the man's resolve. He was particularly interested by Diego's fanatical hatred of all things Chaos, and desire to redeem himself and to regain his honour.
What do you think? Is Diego fit to accompany your inquisitor?
Matt

I'll leave that one to you... Would you like to be a warrior? I'm pretty sure both of ours fit both roles so I'm not too fussed.

I would write some fluff for you, but I'd need to do some research on what these things actually are first! I'd also need to know what, if anything, is left.

I've got the same problem, I want to write some fluff for a Sage, but I don't know enough about how the lore to do a decent job.

Sages are just scholars that the =][= use for information. A good example is Uber Aemos; Eisenhorn's sage. Usually they have cogitators built into their brains to allow them to carry vast amounts of information in their minds. In the old codexes their info amounted to +1 bs per sage, to a maximum of +2. Not sure about what they do in the current GK codex.

Updaye time..... Walrus, with your approval.... I'd like to induct you as one of my Acolytes . I am currently working on things that will allow Progression for your charaters in the Retinue, and once you reach acolyte, Theres a chance your Character may well become an Inquisitor themselves . Also for every time your character is killed.... A D6 will be rolled, on a roll of a 1... Your Character is dead, But a memorial to your character will be erected in name of there glorious triumphs. Let me know what you guys think of the idea Dave

Sounds good to me mate! I like the rpg elements and the slight sense of danger in that none of the characters are safe from death! Does this mean that Diego made the cut as the warrior?
