Mememememe! Make one of your warriors a veteran guardsman called Daniel Orell! What rules are you using, by the way? Ok, ok, Major Daniel Orell of the Dernhelm 25th was the sole survivor of a particularily devastating battle against the Eldar, which he only lived through by virtue of his proximity to the enemy Warseer. Where the rest of his forces were decimated by the strange warp magic the Eldar employ, he alone survived long enough to finish off the Warseer who was too busy with his arcane practices to notice one guardsman hellbent on revenge. The major was left for dead at the hands of the Warseer's protectors, after which he was recovered from a heap of corpses by the reinforcements of Terra, amongst which was an inquisitor. Orell is interrogated after recovery because the inquisitor wants to know how he survived the psychic onslaught (sheer luck). Inquisitor decides to keep him around, because, you know, you never know if you've got a blank on your hands. And an extra gun never hurt anybody either.

Xanders Cailing-Penitent As the sole child of the noble house of Klentone, she was given the name Delphina Medicus, and became heir to her fathers position amongst the ruling caste of the planet Adral. Adral was a peaceful civilised world, far from any major front, and suffered from relatively low crime, and was considered a place for retired Imperial Generals and wealthy officials to spend the rest of their days in tranquillity. The planet was lush and fertile, and it had two great oceans, one of which was the Klentone sea, and was part of the Klentone controlled sector of the planet. The Klenton sea was home to the sub sector famous Spiralis Majoris, tall spiralling pillars that rose up out of the see and roughly 200 meters into the sky. These pillars were in the middle of the ocean, not visible from any shore, and were said to be formed by ancient volcanic activity. The Klentonian Cities were built inside the hollow spires, and the most expensive levels were deep under the sea, by the ocean floor, where views into the darkness to see the most spectacular luminous plants and fish were possible. It was down in these depths that Delphina grew up, rarely seeing the light of day. Down in the depths, she was schooled and cared for by a host of nannies and carers, and through them see got whatever she desired, every whim catered for, and see enjoyed every moment of her privileged lifestyle. At the age of 11, she discovered that she could do as the fish do, and make light without the need for any equipment. At first, she could make her self glow in multicoloured light, similar to the life outside her windows, but as she used her powers more and more, she became able to make balls of light, and illuminate areas of darkness. She had never feared these powers, as in her exclusion from the rest of the world, she believed that all people could do it. She often wondered if she could do other things, and so she decided to take a trip to the upper levels with her maidens, to the great library. When see arrived, she used an interface terminal to find the section she was looking for. She was denied. She started grabbing her maidens, pulling them to the console, and demanding it would do as she said. The maidens, not knowing what was wrong, called over a servitor, and asked it to find the section that Delphina had asked for. The servitor replied with a single word, 'Forbidden'. Delphina, not used to being denied, began to get angry, flailing and crying she screamed for the books she wanted. But no one could give them to her. She decided to make her own powers. She made a ball of light, and tried to focus on it, to make it stronger. The light beaming out of the door drew attention from outside, and people started to gather round in awe. As Delphina powered her ball of light, it began to turn into a ball of flames. She swung it around, setting alight shelved books, not thinking what see was doing. "She's a Witch!" one person exclaimed "Call the Arbites!" another screamed. Delphina, in her panic, flung the ball of flames into the crowd, burning many and causing massive panic as people tried to flee from the small girl. Within minutes, Adeptus Arbites arrived, and they found masses of blackened bodies across the promenade. Standing, aflame in the centre, was a small girl. After a shot curt command the Arbites fired their executioner shotgun rounds in unison. Delphina, saw this in slow motion, she laughed as the trails that the shots made spun in the air. She flicked up small flashes of intense fire with just a passing thought, with very little effort at, and the shots melted. She then turned her gaze upon the Arbites, one by one. It was said that the screams could be heard throughout that spire. It took two days for outside help to arrive, incredibly fast, as there was a black ship brigade passing through the warp nearby. The Arbites had managed to contain Delphina to the level she was on, at it took no less than ten minutes for the Inquisitor to subdue her. She was taken aboard the black ship, never to return, but as she was carried away, she awoke from her induced coma to pronounce two words, 'Xanders Cailing'. It is not sure what these words mean, but it was certified that it had no ruinous intent. It became her code name, and she forgot her life as a noble girl, and became a Penitent, sworn to use her powers to protect who ever she was told to, in hope that she could redeem herself in the eyes of the Emperor. Though her destructive powers were great, she is bound never to use them, as she could never control such power. Now she caries a small icon of holiness, and where's a shroud to hide her identity, lest she given praise for her achievements.
How's that for you, It shouldn't be too hard to convert I feel. -Empirespy

Right.... Since I'm asking you all to join up, I thought I'd let you all know a little about the Inquisitor you will be serving under: Lord Inquisitor Metallus Flavion.
Lord Inquisitor Flavion was trained under the Watchful eye of the prestigeous Grand Inquisitor Gabriel Lupus. He was recruited from the Adeptus Arbites as a lowley enforcer who managed to subdue a rogue psyker who had managed to kill every other Enforcer in his squad. He managed to contain the Psyker untill the Ordo Hereticus had arrived to deal with him. The Inquisitor in question was Gabriel Lupus, saw potential in Flavion and asked him to join retinue as a henchman. After a decade of servitude alongside the Inquisitor, the retinue found there most severe threat, a Space Marine Chaplain who had been tainted by the witch... Grand Inquisitor Lupus condemned his actions.... Marching into the monastery, The Ordo Hereticus came under a punishing volley of fire from the Bewitched Marines. After several hours of long and bloody firefights, The Inquisition arived in the Throne room of The Monastery to find it completley desicrated and atop the throne sat the Cackleing Chaplain. Lupus ordered Flavion and 2 Crusaders to accompany him to the Chaplain. As they reached the foot of the stairs, The Chaplain stood up and fired his Storm bolter... Both rounds fired killed the Crusaders outright. With a swift movement of his finger Lupus fired a Holy Stake through the chest of the Chaplain, dropping him to his Knees. The Chaplain stumbled down the stairs and fell in a heap infront of the two men. As Flavion placed his shotgun over the Chaplain, He rose and swung his Crozius around manically hitting the Inquisitor in the Chest and Breaking Flavion's right arm. He roared triumphantly as beams of red light started to pierce the holes in his helmet. In a spectacular show of light and gore, the Chaplain Rose into the air and started to mutate. With his one good arm, Flavion drew up his shotgun and fired a manstopper round between the chaplain's eyes, killing him instantly. He stood to his feet and picked up the broken Inquisitor, aiding him to his shuttle outside. Once aboared the Black ship, Lupus confided in Flavion that if it wasn't for him, he would probably be dead. From there Lupus trained Flavion as an Acolyte, were he was always by Lupus' side. After many long years of mentoring, Lupus was satisfied that Flavion was ready to become an Inquisitor in his own right. He set about dealing with the witch, the heretic and the mutant, in the name of the Ordo Hereticus. After another 2 decades he was apointed Lord Inquisitor and he aspires to one day live up to to legacy of his Mentor, Grand Inquisitor Gabriel Lupus.

Is Flavion based on bioflavonoids..? Because then you Sir have made a great, if so what specific, biology joke..! (seening that bioflavonoids can have a helpfull effect against cancer, vira and allergies.. And therefore Inquisitors can be considered to have the same effect on the Imperium..! and the fun thing is that it hasn't been 100% proven that flavonoids are actually helpfull.. )

Oh! I wanna play!
Explicator Castus Drake (Acolyte):
Castus Drake is the youngest son of one of the many merchant lords of Halcyon VI, a middle of the road trade hub in a mostly unimportant sector. Tired of the tedium, Drake managed to get his father to pull a few strings, and managed to get himself a commission in the Imperial Navy, and a chance to ply the stars. Before leaving, his father gave him an old family heirloom, a bolt pistol based upon the ancient revolver design. While on leave on Hive World +redacted+ in the +redacted+ system, Castus became entwined in a Chaos plot to take the planet, and begin a full scale invasion of the Imperium. After teaming up with +names expunged+, the group managed to find and begin a resistance movement against the corrupted government. This began his descent away from standard military dress and protocol, finding that clothes that allowed him to blend in and conceal larger weapons was much more practical. After months of intense combat, the resistance group managed to strike critical blows on the enemy forces, and finally killed the now possessed planetary governor +redacted+. Finally able to get off planet, Drake was soon picked up by the Inquisition, an offer he was not likely to "refuse." After almost a year of rigorous training, Drake was finally placed under the tutelage Inquisitor Flavian, a position and opportunity he was greatly excited about.

Mar Zane - Penitent
A recidivist from Necromunda, Mar was captured after a lengthy killing spree in the lower levels of Hive Primus. He is a large, brutal man with broad shoulders, brown skin, black hair and eyes. His nihilistic nature has earned him the weary respect and hatred of his team mates.
Easily overlooked as a criminal Mar was enrolled by Inquisitor XXX for one, single reason. Mar Zane is a blank. A man with no psychic imprint and therefore an ideal commodity for an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus.

It is likely Mar is unaware of his gift and believes Inquisitor XXX chose him for some overly righteous reason such as superior battle intelligence and uses this fictional idea to reinforce his unstable mindset of self worth but the fact remains.... Mar Zane has no soul.

This is pretty long but I really got in to it.
Imara -Chirurgeon
Deep in the heart of the Calixis Cluster lies the small forest world of Mortressa IV. The natives of Mortressa IV have learned to use the local fauna to treat wounds. The main plant used is commonly called 'Lion's Claw'. Lion's Claw can be grown on most nearby Imperial Worlds easily, it has even been cultivated on board interplanetary ships. When it became apparent the plant could also be used to keep men awake despite immense pain, it began to become popular amongst the Imperium's seedier elements. Naturally, the Ordo Hereticus intervened to discover if Lion's Claw was in fact Chaos spawn and to hunt down the smuggling culture that grew up around the plant. An expedition including Inquisitor Metallus Flavion was sent to uncover the plant's secrets. On Mortressa IV, Inquisitor Flavion found a teenage girl enslaved by smugglers and used as their medic. She was an expert at the use of Lion's Claw to treat battle wounds and it's less savoury aspects. The girl, Imara, was instantly recognised as potentially useful to the Imperuium. She was bought from the smugglers and put under Inquisitor Flavion's command. He instantly took a liking to the resourceful girl and set her to work further studying the local plantlife. However, the attention of the Inquisition was needed elsewhere. To quickly move manpower from Mortressa IV, Lion's Claw was deemed to be heretical. Mortressa IV, its inhabitants and all records of them every existing were purged. Luckily, Inquisitor Flavion, managed to smuggle Imara off planet. Ever since she has lived a life in his service, employing her trade for the Inquisitor; both on his retinue and on those in their custody.
Edit: spelt chirurgeon wrong
