I said for ORKS not for GUARD. Orks currently have a crap codex that needs a lot of work. And trust me you have to be gigantic idiot and loads of bad luck to lose with the new CSM. Just make an army list with a tooled up Demon Prince as commander and Plague Marines and Thousand Sons as troop choices. Pointwise perhaps a bit expensive but they will do the job very well. Just tanks could be a problem but the DP should be quite good at destroying tanks. The Thousand Sons kill everything with a 3+ armour save while the Plague Marines just absorb all the enemy fire and prevent the opponents from reaching the Thousand Sons and starting close combat against them.

what i was refering to was that all armies can be beaten im well aware that orks needs updating in fact i posted that fact months ago that i thought orks should be next for update , however i disagree that choas will be unbeatble, as every time a new codex comes out the flavour of the month army is considered unbeatable, it happens every time. i've always stayed IG and quite simply they are not! it just takes a differant aproach thats all. a ork player wiull simply have to adapt, as we all will to take account of the new rules as after all a daemon prince is only a monsteroius creature and can be delt with as such, once you work out its bad points and the best way to slay it. perhaps snipers may be the answer? and as unless theve massivly altered the rules certain choas items may end up loosing it and ,killing there own side. people should just calm down. fishki with his CS will have a short advantage for a while then something will change people will adapt, old tactics may be resserected perhaps the whole deep striking thing may be binned and we'll all go back to tank rushing the enemy or maybe a ork player may figure out that stick bombas work well we dont know yet so why worry, about it. there seems to be way to much panic about this codex. i recon on a good day any one can win even the orks!

Orks will even have problems just wounding the new CSM. And you don't have to worry about the Ancient Enemy rule anymore. So just put in Plague Marines (Nurgle), Noise Marines (Slaanesh), Thousand Sons (Tzeentch), and Khorne Berserkers (Khorne) in one army and don't forget to put a Demon Prince of Khorne in there as general. Mix that up with some Obliterators for some spice and have fun watching your opponent biting in the desk or trying to beat you (the player) up...

yeah I agree with knight but then it will lose the flavour/fluff of the army and some people wont want an ultimatley awesome killing army, a lot of people dont get armies just for winning, they create them and add character to them, any way

Everyone (even the redshirts in my local GW store) hoped that they would weaken Chaos a bit as it's far too strong right now and Iron Warriors are currently one of the most dangerous and tourney winning armies over here. But instead of weakening Chaos, they just made it stronger then before and removed the weakening restrictions...

The new chaos range isn't going to be that good, GW have not done anything to sort out CSM's major drawbacks. You have to remember also that the way they use demons has changed, sorry if this has been mentioned before, I can't be arsed to read everything that has been said before. Demons are going to get a new codex next year.

Yeah, next year though. It was explained in this month's UK WD. I am not sure if the UK WD was the only issue to recieve this information.
