Hi guys I'm trying to do a somewhat decent representation of British Desert DPM, as per picture here on Google. I will add a picture of my first attempt on a Sniper first of all, and would like some tips on how to get it looking more realistic please before I commit it to my other snipers and camo cloak wearing marines (my standard troops are desert drab, as it were). Reason I started the thread without the model pic was hoping someone might have some first tips etc. and some experience to share... should have model pic up tomorrow. Cheers all! |

just paint a thin layer of graveyard earth as the darker pattern over a base of (50/50) desert yellow / commando khaki... at a guess..
i know for a fact that desert dpm is only made of two colours....
looking forward to seeing the camo that you have done.
