I want to paint some of my vehicle black..but I'm not sure really how to do it and make it look good?
How to add depth, highlighting or wear.
If you have a good pic of a vehicle that is black please post.
I have a sneaking suspicion that its a little harder then most paint schemes.

Spray it black, then dry brush in a light grey, then some direct drybrushing in white.

I highlight edges with codex grey. Brings out the panels well and separatess the blacks. Also additional detail like rivets door handles and stuff like that you can take the extra mile to give more detail than normal.

Some people will very effectively highlight black with mixes of grey/blue or grey/green. You may also want to add a tiny bit of pigment into your black mix. Can look really good. Depends if you're wanting a blue black, green black etc. or just straight black!

I only drybrush. Highlighting takes too long.
