Is 120,000 the total number of troops in the IST? Because that is really small number, easily wiped out in a single campaign.
The Inquisition has a tendency to 'dispose' of those who has extensive knowledge of their activities/personnel.
Other than that an enjoyable read!

I thought it was a pretty large number to be honest. Basically the idea behind it was that eventually Paragon would be declared excommunicate and the T40 would have to choose their allegiance...

Yeah it's a cool concept you've got going their mate. I reckon, though, that for a world wide war there would be millions lost. Take world war 2 for example, or even ww1. The French, Germans and Russians each had a few million men in their armies. So I reckon you could have 120 000 men in one regiment, or battle group, but overall there would need to be millions more fighting, and dying. One other thing, I personally think 120 000 men is too many for an inquisitor to drag around on wild goose chases. They wouldn't be able to move around fast enough. It would take too much organising. I reckon more like 12 000 could do the trick. that way they can be seen as elite troops as well. I really love the concept though mate. keep it up. I'm interested to see what else you have coming.
