Superheavies are in apocalypse, where there is no FOC. However, you could make a superheavy slot, like 1 per FOC, if you wanted to bend the rules a bit.

Are they heavy support ? Does anyone have a link for super heavies in army lists ? Forgeworld used to have the updated tank company army lists on their website, but apparently took them down. Reading through the old IA book, they're listed as a "detachment", which isn't something that exists anymore. They're not something you can normally take in an FOC, and should be relegated to apocalypse games, or games where you obtain your opponent's permission beforehand (i.e. before you show up to play). Then you can do what DadCRO said, and use them as a HS slot. Reds

Well my bro fields a Malcador as a HS slot and I'll be fielding a Shadowsword... Pretty uneven I know, except he'll be fielding mech squads with artillery, leman russes and sentinels alongside it.
I have a vendetta

The Spearhead expansion also allows you to field Super-Heavies as a spearhead formation.
While most of the Guard Super-heavies are cool, they suffer from being a little vulnerable to thier equivalent points costs of non-super-heavy, the only super heavy that scares me is the Ork Stompa since it is such a good all-rounder and brings a lot to an ork list with ranged anti-tank weaponry, huge blasts (so accuracy isn't a problem), psycho dakka blastas which dakka blasts your psychos very effectivly ... and finaly the potential to field lifta droppas which automatically hit and throw tanks all over the place.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the incredible Stomp attack which sees you hating the pile in rules... then add a few lethal flamer things, a bunch of big shootas, maybe a deff arsenal and some supa rokkits, possibly some shields, a hellstorm template or even a belly gun if it decides to give up its transport capacity of 20...
Yea.. Stompas... Orks know what there doing when it comes to Waargh!
