How are people playing with this rule until it gets FAQ'd? The way I'm reading it, the rule doesn't do anything other than slow the tank down now as it only allows you to fire an additional weapon at combat speed. Since you're able to fire everything at combat speed now anyway (as snap fire) it doesn't provide any benefit that you aren't already getting.

Except for the full BS

What about full BS? The Lumbering Behemoth rule doesn't allow for an additional weapon to be fired with full BS, only for an additional weapon to be fired. According to the new rules edition, which allows you to fire everything anyway, this doesn't matter. Until the rule gets FAQ'd, in any case. It would be silly for them not to FAQ it, but they've done worse things.

Well yes, sorry, my answer wasn't really in full:
"How are people playing this rule" "Fire the weapons with full BS"
It effectively becomes firing a weapon rather than firing a snapshot.
I read someone else on this forum post about that being their assumed understanding/probably FAQ solution and seeing as it does seem to be the most obvious FAQ rule choice, this is how me and my gaming group decided to have the rule played until such official FAQ is released.

That will probably be how I will recommend playing it in the future with my groups as well. I was just wondering if there were alternates going around as I hadn't seen it in another post. Thanks for the response!

I've been playing it like this: - Ignore the Turret for the moment. - Work out which Weapons can fire regularly, and which can fire Snap Shots. - Now fire the Turret Weapon as well, at full BS.
This is based off the wording that the Turret Weapon is fired "in addition" to whatever it would normally be allowed to fire in a given situation.

Right, the rule says you get to fire the main gun in addition to any other weapons you would normally be allowed to fire. Can you nomrally snap fire with blast weapons? I don't think you can from what I have read but I do not know for certain.

The rule lets you fire your turret weapon in addition to everything else you would normally fire. You cannot snap shot blast and template weapons.
Stationary: You can shoot everything, unless you are shooting ordnance in which case you can only shoot that. Lumbering Behemoth allows you to shoot ordnance from your turret and everything else.
Up to 6": you can shoot 1 gun and the rest at BS1. Lumbering Behemoth allows you to shoot your turret in addition to 1 gun at full BS and the rest at BS1.
6+D6": You can only snap shot with your guns, no blast, no ordnance.
This is how the Leman Russ works.
