Since Techpriest can repair Hul points, is anyone considering including them? I normally take three heavies, and it seems not too terrible to me...

II was reading a thread about this about a week ago and most people still aren't impressed.
It might be worth considering a Techmarine HQ ally.

Techpriests still seem very sub-par. The recommendation for a Techmarine is 'better' option, because he brings other things to the table, but is also more expensive. The issue with repair rolls is that it only restores 1 Hull Point or one of the things it could fix previously and it seems unlikely that he'd be able to provide a meaningful benefit to the army over the course of the game. Since Glances and Pens don't stop a vehicle from shooting anymore (unless it is destroyed/out of weapons) people are going to throw more firepower at a vehicle to ensure a kill. In 5th, someone might stop with a Shaken just because the vehicle was going to be ineffective next turn. So the chances of having a vehicle lose only 1 or 2 HP in a turn and survive seem somewhat slim. Disembarking from transports also got worse, so it would be harder to ferry the Techpriest around to where he needs to be in one Movement turn.

It's worth noting that servo arms ignore armor saves. There is no AP, they just ignore.

Thing is, for the points to have the techpriest and servitors, with weapons so they aren't useless, you could just about get another Russ, which will get to fire its weapons turn 1 and be another 3 HP AV14 target.
My thinking with guard is why be better when you can be more.

My thinking with guard is why be better when you can be more. I'm debating what is better for the points. That will always come down to numerous reasons. I just think 6 models with servo arms getting out of one of the hardest chimeras the opponent has ever faced is funny. There are, after all, a relaible way we have to kill terminators in assaults.
