Hey, I wanted to convert my guard into something like a 19th century British Line Infantry regiment. I was going to go about it by scraping the shoulder pads off the cadian arms, then using this www.curiousconstructs.co.uk/Life_Guard_Torsos/p1446089_6696771.aspx as my torso. I couldn't find any heads, even though I scoured the Internet. I was hoping to find a head with a bearskin helmet/ grenadier head for my veterans. For my regulars, I was thinking of either mixing the old and modern and get a head with a gas mask, or get a head with a shako. Lastly I wasn't really sure what to get for my commanders. Suggestions and comments are needed! Thanks guys!

Hello, Mr Moomoo. Firstly I'd suggest scouring Perry miniatures website for their plastic napoleonic lines. They have lots of spare heads in them, apparently, and are reasonably priced VS other plastic boxed sets. www.perry-miniatures.com/index.php?cPath=22_62If you do use Col.Gravis' torsos and alternate heads, then in all likelyhood you won't be able to play them in an official GW store, but who cares.. That's what Maelstrom and other gaming venues are all about, hey? Also the Life Guard as I see them are about representing Carapace armour veterans, rather than platoon infantry. Is that what you want to do? For a commander either make your own out of plastic (again with one of those 'pace torsos), just using the bitz in the command box. If you have problems finding a suitable head for the commander, look at bitz sites and see if you spot anything suitable from them. www.bitzbox.co.uk/index.php/the-empire-empire-archers-c-22_68_265The Empire Archer set has a few interesting ones.

Thanks, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Vicitrix miniatures, I was wondering, do they come as a whole, or do they need to be glued together?
