What kind of strageties can I use for this particular model. normally I go with the sucide bomber route. Basically he appears behind an enemy non-vechicle unit, chucks a str 10 det bomb which destroys or forces a flee and then gets shoot by surrounding enemy support fire.

I wish demo charges were str 10 but they are a bit lower.
Marbo works well if you pop up in cover with the closest enemy model being a specialist, like a flamer or sergeant, then you can pick it off with a nice explosion.
When the enemy returns fire, go to ground. It gives him a great cover save and makes it difficult to kill him. Now the enemy has to choose how much fire to pour into taking him out, or ignore him and let him wreak havoc.

I didn't know that I could go to ground during the enemy's shooting phase. how does one do that exactly cause i'm fuzzy on the details.

After they roll to hit and wound your unit, you decide to go to ground and continue from there. Really nice ability since you get to choose after you find out how awful the attack is going to be. Especially since we can order our guys out of it.

Marbo just got even better with the new rules for blasts and vehicles. Basically he's a cheap one-shot suicide explosion that will kill something expensive...

He will be very good at taking out terminators and even better against vehicles now due to the blast being full strength throughout.

He has always been good at taking out termies.
TBH, he is really useful when you pop him up in cover near a weakened enemy unit, or a special unit (injured monster/assasins), and keep using him to hit and run out of cover since he does best like that.
If you use him properly, he doesnt die that easy, and he is a real distraction.

Thank you all. The advice so far has been helpful. I'm currently experimenting with using Stormtroopers as back up, cleaning up any enemy units that survived the det charge.
