How on earth are u supposed to use these beasts? What are they best used for because when I deploy them next game Id like to have an idea to go along with my 3 outflanking hellhounds, rough riders and deathstrike. Yes its a head scratcher list.

Well, when I played against Tau, I put them in a chimera and charged them on the 3rd turn, to beat the crap out of Fire warriors and then two battle suits.
I have never foot slogged them at all so I couldn't tell you if they work well like that or not :/

Truth be told...don't. They are way over priced. If you use allot of outflanking stuff they will only slow you down, IMHO.
But if you really want to use them, load in chimera and get them as close as you can. Try to get them to outflank some how.

In the times I've used them I always add in a Lord Commissar to them (as well as putting the whole lot in a chimera). I'll usually arm the Commissar with a power fist and a plasma pistol for some power in there as well. The main reason for the Lord Commissar though is for the Ld 10. Ogryns should win most melees, but if they don't it'd be depressing as hell to lose them to a sweeping advance as their leadership is like 7 (though they do have stubborn) and the enemy will most definitely catch them (initiative 2)

With the new rules for wound allocation(the closest one getting hit) I think shuffling around multi-wound models might be helpful.

For all those who used to run the Lord Commissar + Ogryn Insurmountable Blockade Squad of Doom', how does a Bone'ead stack up for accepting challenges from most reasonable enemy squad leaders or commanders?
The idea is, as ogryns are very durable but terrible at dishing out damage (no assault wargear per se) the commissar+rest of ogryns to wallop the squad while the sgt takes a few powersword strokes to the gut that he can, in all likelihood, probably survive.
Thoughts?

Overpriced.. Won't win combats against anything of note..
The above sums up what ogryns do..
I guess you could "Look out Sir" with a Lord Commissar if you are foot slogging, but why you'd put him infront is beyond me..
But since you are using both Rough riders and a deathstrike I can't see bring ogryns would be a problem, since the list already sounds like it is lacking any semblance to synergi..
Good luck is the best advice i can give you then...
