GGXII: Entitled simply ‘Xenos’ this competition is all about the alien scum that inhabits our Emperors holy galaxy. You are quested with producing and painting this filth, then it can be identified and catogorized by our scribes and scholars and CLENSED WITH HOLY FIRE!
I'm throwing down the creativity card here: As long as it isn't human or Astartes then it's all good. You can paint something from any of the existing GW stuff, you can create something from the background or if you're one of those shady people that sells Xeno tech in the underhive, you can create something of your own (in which case you'll have to provide a report on the creature).
The models must be started on as of NOW (on or after this date), not something you have started already. Hence the need for WIPs.
The models submitted can be converted models (this is strongly encouraged), re-posed models, whatever you fancy, although it must all be done by YOU. So no commissions or pre-painted ebay stuff.
As usual, entries will consist of Final Finished Product (FFP) photos, preferably at least 3 (from different angles), and up to 3 WIP photos.
At least 1 WIP must be provided, to show that it was your own work! This can be building, sprayed, whatever.
Please send them unscripted (IE without the brackets), then I can cut & paste into the voting thread, which will save me around a week of my life

Also, please avoid giving members 'sneak peeks' of what you're up to in your own threads, or discussing what you've done in threads.

You should now be aware of these requirements; anyone submitting without taking notice of this won't have their entries included in the voting thread. HA!
Please also provide good quality photos where possible. Borrow a digital camera with a macro setting if you must, as some mobile phone pictures do not look as good as they should. You want to do your painting justice! And if we can't see your wonderful painting, how can we vote for it?
If you would like pictures cropping etc then I can do that for you, providing the quality of the original image is acceptable. I’m not photoshopping them so everyone can tell what it is… Let me know beforehand please
All entries must be submitted to myself via PM by Sunday 2nd September 2012 at 24:00 Local, and as with previous competitions a separate voting thread will be created. Any entries after this will not be included. A new GG competition will be created around the same time.
The winner will receive praise, glory, and the traditional no-expense-spared sig banner (provided by Ymott Industries tm) to proclaim how awesome they are. YAY!
As always, this is all in the name of fun, and improving our painting skills, so please EVERYONE submit a model. Failure to turn in any Xenos species will result in a visit from the Inquisition, and no amount of tea and cake stops those guys from finding out what they want to know....
