Very nice looking! I've got a question for you, sir. You ordered the Chaos Icon etched brass set I see? How many "sprues" (I guess you'd call them?) does it come with? I debated buying them but wasn't really sure if it was worth the like $17 USD not including shipping for me to buy it.

You get 1 sprue and it's quite small, to be honest I was slightly disappointed. I wanted all the chaos stars but you only get about 5, the rest are actual panels which you can't do much with apart from put them on the sides of tanks.

Hey Nice Praetor How did you find the kit Cosmic? I hated putting mine together, just little areas that really wound me up. I hope you found use for the Renegade dude Major Downer

Hey Nice Praetor How did you find the kit Cosmic? I hated putting mine together, just little areas that really wound me up. I hope you found use for the Renegade dude Major Downer I thought it was great to be honest! Everything fits quite well, only had to cover up the gap between the top and bottom halves of the front end. The renegade dude will be used on some Basilisks I'm getting from Foster hopefully Righto, no picture updates today but I will just say that I've ordered a selection of Maximini heads to make some Renegade Guardsmen using just Guard pieces. That way I can have a large selection of Chaosy looking things. I have the Chaos Lord for the big, bad, meany leader. The Chaos Chosen for the Elite, unstoppable magical soldiers. The Hellbrute for the heavy, stomping killing machine. The Renegade Command Militia for the leading, whipping motivators. The Cultists as the civillian, working class mob of the force. The Renegade Guardsmen as the slightly more professional mob of the force. And then finally the Renegade Praetor as the massive, long range shooty tank of the army. All of this is mainly all for aesthetic purposes, as I'm no gamer yet. I just like what will look good! Cosmic

Blood Pact helmets? I don't think so, I got 3 lots, the Bio-hazard ones, the Evil heads and then the Toxic Guardsmen ones have a nice mixture! Well I've been busy Base and Under coating the whole force.... Enjoy! Cosmic

That's a really shiny red basecoat. It looks like every red paint and ink in the world has all concentrated itself in one place.. A super, shiny red place.
I look forward to seeing the cultists and guardsmen more than anything, although those 'evil' maxmini heads look like cartoon characters/ muppets.
The Praetor is droolworthy.

Amazing effect on that giant tank, not up to date with my forgeworld monstrosities I'm afraid. The weathering is so incredibly realistic! Don't know how you do it!

Having just used the site quickly to find out for you, when you select from the splash screen which images to upload there is a check box for 'Edit'. Check it and before the image uploads you get a simple edit tool to play with. Top right corner is then the dimensions.

The Renegade commander is coming along nicely.
Photobucket gave me a lot of bother a few days ago, I just couldn't upload anything. Then I signed up to Image Shack, but the photos looked really small online. The next day Photobucket worked fine, and I uploaded them all with no problems.

Are the guns painted cause they look like bare plastic? :/ I think Cosmic is going for the mid-grey undercoat approach nowadays.

I think he's just got the command squad for now but it really does tempt me to start that renegade regiment I'd been considering for so long.
