Hey guys!
This might be the wrong forum so someone will just have to move it in that case, but I could not figure out what forum you'd want this question in.
So.
I finally bought myself a basilisk and while I was trying to asemble it last night the cannon was all limp. Like, I could position it and such, but I could not get it to stay in position, it would just fall down to aim straight ahead instead of up in the air. I tried changing the position slightly on the legs but that did not help either so I finally got tired and removed them until I can figure it out
How have you guys done it?

yep sometimes that happens. you can do 2 things: put some Greenstuff in the hole and than push the pin on the side of the barrel into to Greenstuff and remove carefully. Wetting the pin on the barrel helps. Repeat this for the other side. allow to dry completely and you will probable have an adjustable gun barrel. the quick way: Super Glue like to see some WIP pics and or finished model.....

I use tac glue in the mechanism part, so it can be moved at any angle.

Ashotninja - that is brilliant! Where did you put the magnets? Mackight - ain't tac glue like normal glue? Or am I missing something? magot - I'm not quite sure I follow .. you want me to get greenstuff on the inside of the barrel on the pin? Won't it dry and become hard like plastic?
