Wouldn't it be a good idea if we had a forum for posting places to find a game, such as events and wargaming clubs?
For example I recently started going to Redditch and before I found it, it was quite difficult to find anything local?

My club posted something on Dakka Dakka, I'm assuming theres more clubs that do that also. Should be worth the look at least.

There's some listings of Craigslist and the like as well, if you're feeling brave. Using the GW store finder feature can help too, and you can always eyeball the location of IGMBers and ask them where they play if they're nearby you.

I am always spaced out.
I don't think that a game finder sort of thing would work for us; we span the globe while being fairly spread-out except for England. I suppose it's relative... I say they're all close together, but they may consider it too far. It's several thousand miles between me an ymmot, but we're in the same country.

We conquered half the globe, we only travel if its to oppress people.

I think we are in N6-8 this year. Opening at 10:00: close at 17:00. Last year the queue outside my doors started before 8:00! We try to get pre-paid tickets in early, last year they were in by 10:00 when we opened the cash tills.
Since I'm a sad person, I can tell you that we have about 2.7 acres of wargames show this year!!! (11,000 m2)

If been thinking about this. I think the best way it could be done is if the forum admin did a little work...
Basically, have a board and sub board for people to post local clubs and hobby shops etc by country and area. So for the UK you would have something like this:
United Kingdom > England > North East > people post location / details etc United Kingdom > Scotland > Fife > people post location / details etc
Then so on and so forth for each country (where members of the forum are located, as I don think GW hobby goes to places like Afghanistan).

Well the USA could be divided up into states? And then each state expanded into more specific areas depending on popularity.
Dave has a point. I know of one gaming group in my home town, but it would be good to know where other people on the board meet up for games, so if anyone of us happened to be passing they could drop by for a game.

If by small you mean sh!t, then yes. It's actually around four times the size of the place I was born, to me, this is a metropolis.
