Indeed, they don't look all that bad either. I think this will be how I do my Renegade Army after I've got a bit of the Crimson Slaughter Army sorted out.

looks good but ehm, in the new IG codex there is no autogun in it ( it's a cool convesrsion so, is there a renegade rulebook of some kind?

The autogun is a weapon the Chaos Cultists can take. Stat wise it is identical to a lasgun.

yeah game wise lasguns and autoguns are the same. some imperial guard forces use them to if their worlds arent hugely advanced. Lasguns are prefered do to reliability, although i'd like autoguns for the ammo types you could use!

you can't but logic would say there would be different ammo types, look at modern day ammo: basic, hollow points, AP...Lasgun would have to change the internals as a laspack would just change the charge. Would at least give auto-guns a more interesting use than just a stand in lasgun. my view would be: basic, Hollow points, AP range: 20", 20", 20" str: 4, 5, 4 ap: 6, -, 5 type: rapid fire reduced range as they are solid rounds but more str cuz they are a solid round |
