I finally got round to getting my xbox back out and setting it up, since I bought Rage and Fallout - New Vegas Ultimate Edition. Anyway, I got home from college today to be told that my son spent all day playing with the buttons on the front. This is something I don't want, my question to you guys is this - Do you know anyway to stop the front buttons on the xbox working?

How old is the little one? If hes smaller you could put it up in a higher place where he couldn't get access to it.

He's 18 month old, there is no place higher that I could put it.

Question A: do you have chloroform?
If not, question B: do you have duct-tape?
If still no, question C: Is there no cupboard with a door in the immediate vicinity where you can put the box behind a door and out of harms way?

Going off what peter said, remove the face plate, and put duct tape on the back of it so that it doesn't move when you press the front?

Or, with simplest answers first, there is the option to justturn it sideways when you are not using it, so the buttons are harder to reach. This is assuming it is in a cabinet, and not on top of one.

^^^ Simplest way. Unplug it from the wall and he can press the buttons all day and it won't work. Just plug it back in when you use it and X-Box live will adjust all your time settings so you dont have to mess with them.
