Hey all, I have been messing around with some ideas for an alternate heavy weapons team for a well equipped guard force. What got me thinking is that the heavy weapons teams got combined into a single 'model' on one large 60mm base with 2 wounds. My thought is to model a guardsman with a light exoskeleton mounting a heavy weapon (autocannon in my case) under slung on one arm and either a chainsword or a light manipulator arm on the other arm (maybe combine the two?). Here is a really quick and rough sketch to show what I mean. I need to tweak the proportions a bit and hack one together to test out the idea... Would you have any problem facing this knowing it is a heavy weapons team by all respects, 2 wounds and all?

Don't forget to model the lasguns!

The lasgun would be modeled as part of the manipulator arm.

It looks like you can build that with a guardsman, a marine with a heavy weapon (using parts as the exoeskeleton) and some creativity.
