Right, well Paimons sisters are now pretty much finished and as such I'll be starting my other commissions. My original plan was to complete them all in the order that I got them in, however, that would take absolutely ages. And so, I'm just going to do them all, and flit between them all. To my customers: No one will be left out so please don't feel like I'm abandoning your project for someone elses, everyone will have their stuff painted, but doing it this way will prevent the tedium of painting the same things for a few weeks. I can flit between them and keep myself interested. So, lets begin......
First up is Cheminhalers Lizardmen UFOs....yes....you read that right! I'm not entirely sure what he will use these for, but they look cool anyway!! Chem has more or less given me free reign on colours here, so once these get started I'll experiment with a scheme. There's plenty of detail and I think they'll look impressive on the battlefield! Cosmic A final messageI am truly grateful to everyone who has commissioned me, I really am. As you may have noticed I have plenty to keep me busy, but juggling all of this with 2 jobs as well will be hard. I will try my best to get everything done quickly, professionally and to the standard you all expect. I truly am grateful for your custom, thank you.

What are the legs? They'd look great on some Nids... This is possibly the maddest thing I've ever witnessed by the way. And Chem's behind it. Coincidence? ;D You're going to be very busy Dan. Please post pictures of your paint brush callouses when they develop

I'm not entirely sure what he will use these for, but they look cool anyway!! Project Narthad, which is a lizardmen in 40k sort of idea. What are the legs? They'd look great on some Nids... This is possibly the maddest thing I've ever witnessed by the way. And Chem's behind it. Coincidence? ;D The legs are actually pincer arms, almost lobster like. Don't blame me - blame Bob Olley. These models are discontinued Psychic Scrunt Flying Saucers, only with a head swap. I still have the original psychic scrunt (squat) heads and will make a psyker battle squad by sculpting bodies for the heads. One day.... For more Bob Olley madness check out Olleys Armies. Psychic scrunts are still available, but flying saucers not, sadly.. www.olleysarmies.co.uk/home.html#galleries(Edit - I forgot you've already got dachshunds from there..) I'm glad you approve, 3ff3ct I remember you telling about these way back. Did you ever make rules for them? No, I need to make an army first. You'll help me come up with rules and we'll playtest one day. I need HQs and troops, so when I get money I'll buy some hydruses from KillerB games killerbgames.com/index.php?cPath=2&osCsid=c0536bcfb3d1f2ff4e45cf3bf7b5e533 and commision Cosmic to paint them too.. But I'm thinking of having 2 lizard family subgroups available as troops choices. that way I can squeeze saurus assault squads in, which will be considerably cheaper than the £5 / model hydruses.

Righto, no pictures I'm afraid but the UFOs have been prepared and undercoated. They'll get a good spray of different metallics tomorrow after my airbrush has been cleaned properly overnight Chem have you thought about bases for these? Is that something you're going to do or do you want me to do it?

I'll just use clear plastic flying stands, without any work done on them. I quite like the plain clear plastic for jetbikes, etc. Airbrush? This sounds interesting..

Well I've done a bit of work on them, this is the direction I am heading... This is still very rough, I'm just getting the colours done so I can show Chem a rough draft if you will, thoughts Chem? I've tried to give the crest a bit more texture with some fine brush strokes, as you can see not everything has been finished yet. Cosmic

I really like the scale/hide colour! It's spot on for "space-lizards"! I would have been a bit disapointed if you had painted them green in a "V" kind of way Is there more models comming or just these "regulars"?

a rough draft if you will, thoughts Chem? Cosmic Great work, Cosmic. The only detail I want to change so far are those small bulbous .... lights, I guess... which go around the saucers. Could you make them look like angry, red lights? The lizard flesh is spot on. @ hendrik - They are Fast Attack, I'll need to buy the infantry models when I get money.

Well after a couple of bad weeks I have pushed myself to get back into it. So here's how the UFOs are going, I hope you like them Chem... Just to break up the black hull a bit more I tried some rust in the cracks... I'm not too sure about it now. I still think there needs to be something else though, a light build up of dust maybe?

The colouring is amazing, Cosmic. Especially the glow of light at the front of the saucers, reflecting from the ray-gun.
