This problems came up during a few recent games of mine.
1.)I can start any unit inside a Vendetta that's in reserves. (I ask because it's not a dedicated transport but a transport.) So when it comes in they are inside it. If so this means I can have an IC attached to that unit if it doesn't go over capacity.
2.) Therefore when the bird comes in on turn 2 zooming from reserves or outflanking I can then grav chute them out that same turn?
3.) Does my Warlord have to start on the table turn 1 or was it just half my army points?
4.) How does the Manticore fire? I picked a unit and then guessed how many inches it was away and what I guessed is where the template landed or does it fire like any other ordinance where you place template on unit and roll for scatter?
5.) Is Pask a Character or vehicle upgrade? (Precision Shots)

1) Dedicated Transport is purely a restriction. Units may start in non-Dedicated Transports freely, they just can't start the Game in a Dedicated Transport that belongs to another Unit.
2) It's still not entirely clear, but I believe the answer is yes.
3) Warlord can start in Reserves. And it's half the Army by number of Units, not by Points.
4) The Rules for Barrage Weapons are on Pg. 34 of the Main Rulebook. The Manticore follows those, including the Rules for Multiple Barrages if you roll more than one shot. You haven't actually had to guess the Range since 3rd Ed.
5) Vehicle Upgrade.

2)check the codex, do all units automatically get grav chutes?
4) in 6th edition your allowed to pre measure the range before firing so no need to guess. just place the template, if the target is in line of sight then you may reduce the scatter distance by the firers BS. If you are firing indirectly then scatter rolls work as normal. Just check though as im not sure if with some weapons you still have to scatter even if you roll a hit by using the small arrow on the scatter dice.

2)check the codex, do all units automatically get grav chutes? Grav Chute Insertion is a special Rule for the Valk/Vendetta, not a piece of gear. The problem is that the way it's been Amended to update it for 6th Ed, it's not entirely clear whether it works while Zooming or only while Hovering. As written, it only works while Hovering, but there's a FAQ elsewhere that only makes sense if it works while Zooming.

similar to the storm raven for grey knights then, there is a funny extra rule / step to take when exiting the craft if it is going flat out as it is termed in the GK codex.

Exactly. Both Rules (along with the BA Skies of Blood Rule) were written for 5th Ed, which worked totally differently, and the rewrites they've done in the FAQs haven't been entirely clear about which of a couple of possible routes they've chosen to fix them.

Eh, since 3rd, GW have been less about doing things like the Chapter Approved Compilations and more about just letting things sit unresolved And yeah, the Storm Talon's brand new. Just came out in June, with Rules in White Dwarf.

I have a question:
In the old Ed when I lost a guy to 'gets hot' I would take away a lasgun weilding guardsmen with the explanation that the plasma gun didn't explode, just vented boiling coolent all over the man carrying it so the sarge orders someone else to drop his lasgun and pick up the unreliable yet destructive plasma gun.
so the question:
Can you remove another guardsmen after failing a 'gets hot' roll or does the plasma gun explode into tiny peices?

The gun is gone, and the Plasmagunner Model must be removed. That's how it's been since the Gets Hot Rule was introduced in 3rd Ed.

Yeah Twitch i think you have been bending the rules somewhat there lol I love all the new rules about wounds also, too right your shiney special weapons at the front of your squad are the ones who take the hits, makes players think strategy more.

thats the problem i still have wit hthe "gets hot" rule. if its like you say the guns destroyed, then our plasma sponsons should count as "weapon destoryed" not -1HP.

I've had a number of problems with the Rule since it was first introduced. But I still follow it, because it's how the Game is played.

and i think this has been talked abotu before, sware a bunch of people were saying they kill a normal lasrifle man and keep the plasma to show it just being picked up by one of the others as it should be by the current use of even bigger plasma guns, they now do HP damage to the vehicle but they keep the weapon...but of course now with the new wound allocation yeah they will die.
