I had a game the other day at my local GW and was reintroduced to my nemesis, the slopes on the RoB tables. My models are always slipping down them. So I would like to canvas some opinions on ways to fix this annoyance. Would simply weighting my models be enough? A one pence piece or a washer in the base of all my models may offer enough weight to prevent this.
Has anyone else had to deal with those annoying slopes?

Not on that board specifically but slopes and inclines yes. The washer/coin trick work well, particularly on tall models.

You could apply discs of thin neoprene rubber to the bottoms of the bases.

I actually use a bit of clay, since I can press the model down and have it "stick" there, sort of, as needed. Of course, be sure it doesn't leave any bits or scraps on the table.

one penny pieces fit nicely, and 2 penny pieces are exactly the same diameter as a normal slot base, so can be handy for giving models more height if you want a more imposing character.
I've used pennies with a good number of models and have considered doing it for all of them, just not got round to it.

Pennies won't stop them sliding, if anything they'll make it worse. I know this as I have weighted several 'leaping' hormagaunts and have a RoB board myself.
I simply have a 'these guys are really on the slope' approach and bunch them at the bottom or top.
I'd go with some blu-tack or clay as Reds suggested.

Anvil sell non slip bases - they work but probably expensive.
