We did this one. Not in this thread, though...
Hmm... loss of self.

Local raspberries aren't out yet, but I got some of the Cali ones, even tho they're too expensive and not as good.
Even tho I'm on the upswing right now*, the scariest thing to me is the possibility of getting broken down physically and mentally to the point where I can't work any more, can't support myself.
*And it's due to ongoing lifestyle changes, things getting better in my life, not just some random swing, so it should hold on.

Being forgotten, that scares me the most. To think that after my passing the only thing that will show I even existed would be my tombstone really, really bothers me.

I did too answer. Similar to you (which is impossible with this written record) if I were to lose a sense of who I am with regard to what I believe myself to be - that is what I fear most.
And we're here for you if you need WR.

Wait! I don't understand. You wrote "Similar to you (which is impossible with this written record)", what does THAT mean?
And to be honest I would take care of WestRider if he fell apart. He loves Motorhead which of course makes him awesome.

I know y'all got my back. Don't worry. And vice versa.
Honestly, tho, I'm doing better than I have in years, in something like a decade. I've finally actually got a goal that I know how to work toward (I'm applying to grad school this fall to become a librarian), I'm getting out of the job that's been grinding me down for the past year or so and I've got a better one lined up that should keep me going at least until I get back in school (and hopefully on gummint Job Retraining money, too), and I'm eating better than I have in ages.
EDIT: And Vidxden has finished buffering so I'm gonna go watch Lost Girl with whisky and raspberries for a bit. Back in an hour or so.

Dude, librarians are people I have always respected. How can I get into that?
I love reading and I respect books more than most. Think Fahrenheit 451.

Similar to your fear of being forgotten. Which, of course, is nonsense. We will always remember.

I was brought up to share. Added to which I am like Ymmot and very self deprecating.
OK, this question is much more light hearted;
Which of my avatars have you liked the most? As well as others(like Ymmot, RT, MGK, etc).
I like the avatar you have now the most. It's SO captivating.

Out of the Rook avatars? I think the one that captured you most was the magician guy. As for others, I was always fond of the Red Laser one ymmot did for himself. And Cookie Monster Galatea.

I think you mean Jon Irenicus, is that right? t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRCXodYPIWju58-XXKedG1mlfJUyK2XMcCIX9t8y1FVrActq9s5I predicted you would have said Roy Batty from Blade Runner. RT should go back to the Mexican wrestler. Reds should never change. MGK's best avatar was Lobo. Ymmot's is the Rocket man holding the pistol. He changed his avatar the day we were arguing about firearms so I feel somewhat responsible for that particular avatar. @sharps: how do you make it look so easy? How long does it take you to craft a page or a panel?

It entirely depends on my creative mood and the complexity of the composition.
Due to these, plus the fact that I spent a lot of the time formatting Volume 02, this one took me about a month and a half. I only finished it about half an hour ago.

Irenicus, that's it. I couldn't remember the name, and - let's face it - I'm too lazy to really go on a hunt for that.

I never thought I would have enjoyed the Hulk avatar as much as I have. But having said that; Jon Irenicus is soo, sooooo, soooooooo fornicateing cool you don't even know that I pity you for your ignorance.
Seriously there is a game for computer called Baldur's Gate Shadows of Ahm. He is featured prominently in it and his voice acting is like no other. You are doing yourself a great dis-service by not experiencing it.

I only have the platinum edition of that. Nope, it's the diamond of NWN. My friend had the BG and BG2 discs.

Probably the best way would be to spread the word. Show it to people you think might have an interest; hopefully, some of them will also think it worthy to share, and pass it along to people they think might like it.
I'd appreciate anything you can do in this regard, and if there's anything you think I can help you with, well, you know where to find me. Thank you very much.

Cool, I will make some phone calls tomorrow to friends and family.
Do you have/need an agent? How does that type of business work anyways? I'm not working Monday and can make calls for you if that's something you would want. Figure a good 7 hours of calling.
Let's make something happen dammit!

Dude, librarians are people I have always respected. How can I get into that? I love reading and I respect books more than most. Think Fahrenheit 451. There's a graduate program to become an actual full on librarian (which is what I'm applying for), but most Libraries hire Pages and Aides from their volunteer pool. I've always had a fondness for libraries. One of my earliest memories, before I was even 3, is of walking back home up Capitol Hill with my mom, because I'd told her to put the library books in the stroller and I'd walk. On the avatar thing, I actually kind of miss the Flash Gordon avatars RT switched everyone to.
