I'm doing some Tzeentch daemons, and I've modelled quite a bit of fire on the models. I've decided it's going to be real fire colours, not blue as I originally intended, but I'm stuck on which way round to paint it. I know real fire goes from White in the centre to red on the outside, but I've seen many models painted the other way around, with the lightest colours on the edges, and they look quite good. Anyone want to give their preference, or tips when painting fire? Thanks, -Empirespy

if ur doing deamons, what if you tried blue-ish flames, even add a pink ish hue to it, adds to the demonic effect.

Light/white in the middle to dark on the edges for realistic fire Depending on the detail, you could drybrush it or layer it, depending on how long you want to spend on it and the finish you want of course.
