I'm down with the sandbag idea. Might look at using them too!

I plan on doing sandbags for when I do my trench board. Even considering getting a mold made of it so I can sell it. Or do commission boards.

I think sandbags could be my education into using green stuff.
Foster: will your board be comparable with GW boards? Clubs might be interested in cheep expansion boards!

Have you seen my current board? Not sure about the GW boards as I haven't seen them first hand. If I can get my hands on the dimensions then I think I could do as good as GW's boards.

Thank you, I think I might go to B&Q in the next few days so I can start on my trench board. Was going to do a city board first though. Hmmmm, what to do?

A trench line through a city!? ;-)

Nah, want it to be separate. Although I do plan on having all my boards connectable.

Well trench line would be easier. Just cut a hole and add some sandbags, craters, and tank traps. City scape you have to sort buildings, roads, etc.

Trench board it is next then. I think I can do it to the same size as the GW boards too. Although might have to do that as a separate project.

gonna make home made trenches or use the forge world kits?

Home made, I may consider getting it mass produced to be sold if people like it enough so couldn't use the FW kits.

I'm thinking trenches with no mans land in between them. Really want to make a start but I'm skint till next weekend.

hasn't FW stopped their trench systems? Personally always prefer the duckboard type trenches any way look more trenchy to me. and Stalingrad would be mainly buildings.

hasn't FW stopped their trench systems? It appears that they have. I just looked through the FW site, and there was no sign of them, which is pretty sad, because they were pretty neat.

i stopped seeing them a while ago, like 6 months ago saw at least 2 complete sets on ebay going for like £20 and being able to make 6 foot of trench line!

I will strive to make my trenches as good as the GW for you all.

If you look back to wwI, opposing forces trenches often where literally yards apart, with very little no mans land.
