If I had the money spare I would snap that up. How much can I get for my body parts?

Akden, maybe you missed the point; It may as well have been painted by da vinci That's a lovely army, although I don't see the appeal of owning a fully pre-painted army, no matter who's done it or how good it looks. In my opinion it's like buying a beer and letting someone else drink it while I watch....

Again you're missing the point. This army won 2nd at Golden Daemon, has been plastered in nearly every Imperial Guard Codex/Collectors edition was the first to use wheels on heavy weapon teams. Remember the entire army is OOP. And ffs it's Victoria Lamb. What, what, what!? 2nd edition Guard HW teams (from Catachans through Tallarns) used wheeled heavy weapons carriages (for HBs, ACs, and LCs) long before the Praetorian line was sculpted and released... Granted they aren't the wheels pictured in Lamb's army, but to me those wheels look like they were cannibalized from Ork lobba/zzap/kanon sets.

And dont forget that each and every figure has been customized and Caine was sculpted entirely from scratch. Not saying that buying the army is even a remote thought...

I'm aware the original metals had wheels, I'm referring to the big wheels she has, it even states about them in her listing. Those wheels were probably the first of there kind and which are now commond place in Mordian and Pretorian armies all due to her. I don't know... I have friends who have both Praetorian and Mordian armies, and none of them use those style of wheels on their mounted HWs; they use the stock gun chassis and wheel sets that the second edition HW teams came with. Actually, before seeing Lamb's army today, I don't recall ever seeing a Praetorian army using that style of wheel, much less a Mordian army... Also, yes, it is an excellently painted and converted army, but $4000 worth? That's a quarter of what I have left to pay off on my car, or it is also just about out of state tuition and fees for a semester of six credit hours of classes at my grad school...

The quality is incredible I'll give you that Prilla, no one will ever deny the amount of detail invested in each model but $4000 for an army that quite frankly would hardly make 1K points is just mind boggling.
It's a masterclass force but it's so static. Praetorian are extinct and so OFFICIAL add ons would be hard to come by and would you really feel comfortable taking them any where when you've invested so much into them? They can't be insured / replaced. Anything can happen.. a fire...
Your pratically paying 4k for a decorative display on the mantlepiece. It is a truly inspiratiional and incredible force but the price is almost saying "I'm an excellent modeller trying to make a living, help me pay back my mortgage."

It's a work of art, the price is right. She is famed for miniture painting, the time she put into it, plus the models are OOP. The recipient of such is not for the norm, of course. $4000 can buy you the whole DKOK army from FW, or 3 Tau Manta's For me personally, I would not buy it, because I like to model, paint my own army.

I'd buy it, get her to sign some stuff to go with it and put it in a display case. It is a work of art and as such can be insured, then sold on in the future for a profit. I'd never dream of playing a game with it.

I love it, saw it before i saw this post. people saying it's not worth the cost, neither is FW stuff but people seem happy to spend money on them, I bet there's people who have spent about $4,000 worth on FW over GWS. and I guess it there's people out there who want it...hell shocked GWS wouldnt make an offer for it!
