So I just don't think I understand how this special rule works. Your Valkyrie or Vandetta must move flat out and anywhere under which it moves your troops inside can deep strike out. If they scatter they have to take a difficult terrain test. So do they just count as a deep striking unit the. And follow all the deep strike rules plus the scattering rule and the unit destroyed rule? So if I grav chute in a squad of vets and they scatter onto an enemy unit then do I mishap, plus have to take a dangerous terrain test? Or does that count as my unit not being able to deploy and they all get destroyed?

Ok now after reading the newest FAQ, they changed it to if you move more then six inches. It doesn't say anywhere that it has to be hovering so I am just wondering can I grav chute infantry in from a zooming flier. I assume that when they say move more then six inches they are referring to hovering mode as a zooming flier cannot move less then eighteen inches but I just want to know how you do it, if any one does use this rule.

Well, since it doesn't specify a mode of flight, I would think it safe to assume that you can, in fact, grav chute from a zooming flyer. After all, 18 > 6.

The entire Grav Chute thing is all screwy right now. Just make sure you are clear with your enemy before use.
