Greetings Greenknight14, welcome to the Imperial Guard Message Board. *Takes a tissue sample so that clones may be produced as required* You will either thank me or curse me for this, only time will tell. *Issues Greenknight with a pre-lamented flak jacket and bloodstained lasgun* Don't worry about the bullet holes in your armour: your best protection is to keep your head down, now kill that rampaging Chaos Spawn with a hundred eyes! Upon surviving your first 15 hours (and completing your mission) you might be allowed to petition the Munitorum for charge packs for your lasgun. Also very nice score with the Victoria miniatures, they are well respected in this part of the interweb.

greeetings, great work so far, also the victorian minatures do a set of heads which look like the imperial gaurd regiment based on ZULU so a possible conversion in on the cards there aswell

Nice. Victoria really makes some cool models. You did a good work on the pants as well, I probably wouldn't have the patience to cut of that many pockets on all those legs.
The painting looks fine. I see nothing wrong with the face. Remember that he's just a basic guardsman, one amongst many and that he will be standing on a table top so any mistakes will be easily overlooked.

Got it! now you get the bad news though Your right about the face, way too thick paint.. Also noticed the brush marks on the bayonette. Also check your lines, his right cuff is half red and half blue

Im not dissing it, overall its good... Im just giving a nudge in the 'better' direction. If everyone told everyone they were amazing all the time then no one would get better at anything... Or something like that

Also check your lines, his right cuff is half red and half blue Lol while I do appreciate this and considering I asked for it, I'll say this in response. I am aware of the bayonet and have fixed it along with the sleeve lines, and lastly the face has been washed with a very watered down ogryn flesh and is acceptable once it is among 49 other infantry on the table top. But in future responses I would suggest being less negative and perhaps state more things you found positive or done well, that's just my opinion. I did ask for it and appreciate the advice though. For future postings keep in mind I'm very short on time and would classify myself as gamer first then fluff and role playing and the hobby side/painting is my last priority in this great hobby. I should have a 10 man squad built and painted to show off by Monday thanks.
