Its a very strange redesign of the Meltagun. I look forward to seeing how it changes as you add more detail.
What program are you using to do this?

It's being done in Sketchup.

I started out doing basic building panels and went from there. The Melta is based on someone elses concept drawing, just wanted to see if I could do it.

If you add spikes somewhere it would look even cooler. Everyone loves spikes.

No people who run Chaos armies like spikes.

It is based off the Victoria lamb artwork, means I'm on track with my design if you recognise it.

Hey, foster, how did you do the cables/tubes on the side of the gun?

It's hard to explain.

Have you used Sketchup before?

Its what I've used all of today to make this: I'd like to know the cable/tube trick to help wit the little camera thingy above the left ear thingy I've also added a plugin that enables my files to become printable on 3D printers. With some resizing needed in Blender.

Right, draw a circle. Then the lines from the middle of it to where you want them, the use the follow tool to drag the circle along the line

I hadn't seen that particular. Thanks very much. Surprised you haven't had more interest in your own work.

I've only recently started with weapons. I'm not very creative but I learn fast enough to be able to put other people's drawings into 3d

What are the tubes on the top because they remind me of shotgun shells

Id have thought the horizontal tube like things are the heat coils?

Yeah, I misunderstood, the exhausts are in blue, the other things are probably rocket pods filled with mice.
