I woke up this morning and something... Happened. The Nurgle sorcerer was standing next to a pile of Greenstuff and I was inspired by the god of contagion. I like the Nurgling/Spell familiar most. Especially when I paint him. I gots plans. Attachments:

Way too much GS on the claw. Also what does he have tobe his ranged weapon? Nothing implies he can be a threat at range.
I've tried for the bloated stomach you seem to be going for. Most who try, only bloat the stomach out from under the chest plate, and rarely GS up the torso to the next, unless they're awesome with GS.
The thing on top of his Power Pack doesn't seem to have much... function... to it. If you have the parts, I'd reckomend replacing it with the Nurgle Standard from the CSM Box.
Finally, the GS on the Leg and Shoulder pad seem to have not really addded to the model, and so make it look messy more than anything. I'm guessing youwhere trying to show rotting armour/flesh? Look up plenty of photo refs for that sort of thing.
I think thats all I can say. This is just my opinion. Wait for some more thoughts before you go in changing anything.

Cheers Dave. Yeah I like using DA as sorcerers. Incorruptible my arse. I'm looking forward to seeing how this dude turns out too.
The claw was difficult, it looked too Slaaneshi in its 'naked' form so I had to make it look a bit more putrid. I'm going for a crabs claw that has been shelled and left in the sun for a few days.

I think the claw is something that is hard to gauge in a photo at this stage because Nurgle encourages blemishes in greenstuff work when the paint job works with it.
I also think that the skull and green blob combo is a clever combination of parts. I think that'll look pretty good.

Thanks empty. Yeah the claw was a bit risky, as I was doing it I was thinking "Paradill, what the fornicate are you doing? You haven't got the skills anymore with your stupid palsied hands".
I think I'm going to go for a swollen/infected flesh look (because I'm all about breaking the mould) with angry pastel reds and yellows to pick out the blemishes.

Did you give the claw any internal structure? It looks like it might have trouble keeping its shape if it is just greenstuff.

It's got structure, too much if you ask me

Then I'm sure it will do fine. Nurgle seems like a really good faction to learn the ropes for greenstuffing. Just like how Orks are forgiving for conversions. I'll have to bust my own Nurgle marines out at some point and play about a bit.

I've really enjoyed it actually, just sort woke up one morning and it started. Possessed by Nurgle I think.
It's been a nice change from my Word Bearers for a bit, I think I'll paint him soon. Then I can attack my Word Bearers with renewed vigour.

Added some more boils/blisters/pustules for definition and made a little Nurgle vent over his standard SM one on his back pack. Attachments:

The Nurgle vent looks good. Will it be brass or scum?

Scummy brass? I was definitely leaning towards the brass

I redid the Nurgling to look more like a Nurgling inspired spell familiar, with the skull almost exuding puss and taking shape. Any comments/criticism? Attachments:

Not based, because I'm trying to figure out a "befouls the very earth beneath his tread" look first, but I'm happy with the paint job, left some things less tidy than i usually would because I feel it fits quite well. Attachments:
