Ok, for my WWI inspired army, I am looking at doing a converted Chimera to roughly resemble a Mk IV or Mk V tank... Longer/larger lozenge style tracks, the weapons mounted on the side sponsons as opposed to forward hull and turret, etc. So here is my quandary... Should I match the tracks to the Malcador pattern tracks with the sponsons like the Infernus version or do I simply build my own in my own pattern?

I don't get the question...the track design seems basicly the same. Sponsons I'd go wit hthe infernus version, then at least they can fire forwards like a Chimera should be able to.

I guess the question more clearly stated should the sides look like Malcador style tracks or should I make my own style of track sides in a different design of my own creation. I do rather like the Malcador style tracks and it would keep things tied in nicely I think.
@ prilladog, that would be an easy way to do it, though I want something kind of larger and ungainly more like what the early Mk tanks were like.
