The green or blue would be good for plasma coils

Could somebody tell me what the added value of this is? I am a complete noob so all I see is pretty jars of paint.

Personally requested by the 'Eavy Metal team, the Citadel Edge Paints have been developed to help give your miniatures a final sharp, bright highlight. The paints possess the same formulation as the Citadel Layer Paints, but with a much lighter shade to help and you can use them alongside the rest of the Citadel Paint range

'Personally requested' = "please stop us having to mix our own final highlights on some models"

Paradill, have you considered modeling bunny ears and buck teeth on your titan? These edge paints would finish it nicely...

Just another way for GW to get into the minds of new painters who think they NEED this product to get good results........bullnuts...

I take your sarcasm and raise you my thoughts . Painters have managed perfectly well for years doing edge highlights without these silly pots. Yes it's good to have new interesting products to help you along, I couldn't achieve many of my results without specifically using AKinteractives special filters. But an expensive pot of paint just to do edge highlighting? Really? And now I shall join you in booing

there better than the texture paints GWS make. These have a use, the texture paints are crap. I bought one to try out and the sand either is stuck in the pot or to your brush and you get about 5 grains per stroke and their too large grain size to look good. luckily I had some sand thats mixed grain ^_^ These I wouldn't mind the blue one and maybe the Krieg one I see it more as they've expanded their normal paints, I tend not to try to mix paints as I never get the shade I want or the amount I need.

Practice colour mixing, don't be lazy, be a better painter and save money To be honest, most of these shades could be made by adding a bit of white to your red/blue/green/whatever.
