All castled up waiting for the green onslaught... Marbo, Vendetta and a veteran squad in a Chimera are in reserve. What this picture shows is that I *desperately* need to do my basing...

Very cool. Would love to see some close ups. Also, I may borrow your Deep strike land raider idea ;D

It's the poker version of 40k. Just hope they is no stripping involved. Two geeks down to their pants is not a good sight to see... Ugly ugly....

I *love* the use of tankettes as HWS. Or are those Sentinels? Either way, brilliant.

Tanks - there's a proper Leman Russ executioner and a couple of 1/ 48 scale KV2 with battle cannon made from plastic tube. The Hydra is used as my quad gun, just because I like the look of it that way.
The heavy weapon teams are one half of a razorback lascannon turret (the other lascannon makes a half of a las/plas turret), plenty of plastic card, and some wheels from the bits box.
The game went well, I stopped most of the assault but found it hard to deal with 6 meganobz. Marbo took 2 with a demo charge, 2 went down to lascannon, the other two went through two squads before I did for them. In the end I got a win, but mostly because of the way the points on the objectives (the yellow cards) ended up split.

Looking good, the hydra as a quad gun is a great idea and I'm liking the DS landraider now it is finished and in its environment.
