got to agree with Foster, isn't the bolter barrel bigger then the turrets? :/ paintwork looks great though, shocked you didn't rip one from CoH2!  |

Turret is out of my control sadly however I feel it's the best option Prilla has to make it look like a T-34, using a 1:35 scale kit turret would look too stupid. But to be honest scale isn't one of 40Ks strong suits anyway. All the weapons are more or less wrong throughout  |

true, and i just relised the last pic was the flamer. wondered if you'd put a cover on the bolter. >.< fits well with it being an OT-34 (T-34 with hull mounted flamethrower)Also you might want to check out Stalingrad 2013 trailer on youtube  |

Heh heh Um there isn't anything different with the bolter...it's a standard Hull mounted Heavy Bolter. Righto just in case Prilla explodes from frustration here is the almost finished Russ...  There is no blue staining on the side of the turret so why that's showing up I have no idea, will try and get better pictures next time but hey ho, it'll do for now. Evening everyone! Well it's been too long since I posted any commission work but I'm back on it so let's get straight to it.....    Some very quick photos as my camera was dying as I was taking them, so better ones soon. As you can see I've started on the bulk of the infantry. The Valhallans have a much lighter green scheme at the moment, this will however be toned down when all the details are done, the brown pouches and khaki bundles will give them a yellower, darker hue. To compare you see the much greener Krieg guys on the right. The base colours are in, just detailing and bases left to do. There are still some more infantry to do but not many, after that it's just the characters and commissars. I've added some brick walls and debris to the plain bases, to bring them more in line with the cast bases most of the Krieg blokes have. There will be a light snow layer too. All the best! Cosmic |
