Thanks for the feedback. I just think there is a bit too much blue. Might include a darker grey or maybe a dark blue. I used mask fx by critical games. www.criticalmassgames.com/default.asp?category=maskfxI would not have the patience to cut up masking tape. They are good though. I recommend using a brush to press down over the top to make it stick better and help prevent paint getting under.

I commend your bravery and initiative for doing unusual and difficult designs, they look great! Plastruct is always worth investigating as they have a huge (really freaking huge) plastic product catalogue - and a lot of ebay sellers now sell varioous bits of plastruct at reasonable prices. I like this contradiction: "I have used the GW spray gun. Very useful, saved a lot of time... ...as I had a couple of problems with the spray gun so they will need redoing" The GW spray gun is awful - do not spend any more time or money on it and invest in a real spray with compressor. Speaking from experience it really is the best option (it may seem a lot, but those cans of air soon get used up). Throw your GW spray in the bin - I did earlier this week and feel much much happier. (for a link to some evidence: commissar.proboards.com/thread/11641?page=1 ) Ah I can see the pics now. Those look very good. They could stand another similar colour but I think you can leave them with the dominant blue if you wanted to. @tread My thoughts on the GW spraygun is that it's a good 'my first spraygun' and a lot cheaper than a decent good one. I haven't used it though but I was thinking of picking one up to learn on.
