I'm looking at getting some Vietnam-era M113s to convert to Griffons or possibly other artillery pieces.
I was wondering what scale would work best; 1:35 or 1:48? Or something else?

1/35 will probably be too big...

disagree... my ogryn chimera is a 1/35 scale m113 and its true that its bigger than a chimera, but its not ridiculous...

it depends on what the vehicle is and what you want to use it for, I have a few 1:48th scale models, and they are far too small. On the other hand, I have a 1:1000th scale model of the USS voyager, and that's still slightly too big to play with, although the new direction GW is going with more flyers and massive things, I may be able to proxy it in quite well in the near future . For tanks though I'd suggest 1:35th scale.
