Can't decide on a paint scheme!!

Ok so I am considering buying an Eldar force in the near future, I already have an old falcon grav tank which I am using as a palette to test paint schemes. Most of my armies are very dull colour schemes, grey knights (silver/grey) IG (grey mordian, sandy tallarn) ultramarines (blue) orks Balck Silver and red) blacklegion (black) a small amount of green nurgle. the point is I want to paint my elder army in a lighter and more colourful scheme without copying the main elder factions, biel tan etc so does anyone have any ideas or suggestions, I tried a light blue (greeny) colour on a grey primer and it was ok, maybe a little bright but then I put a wash on it and went meh! lol wash was too dark for it.

In the original codex were pictures of different craftworlds. I don't remember names of it, but one pait scheme is sitting in my mind - light gray with firey orange. It looks really good IMO, I would try that.

ah yeah I was thinking about orange! those pics look realy good, think I would go orange with white helms for troops. also the tank is nnice as it has a third colour to break it up abit, although I may try some free hand patternation on mine, well, ill have to strip the the paint of this flacon first and try another scheme lol

how's about purp/gold? used it on my dark eldar some 14 years ago but the combination looks great..

orange (our national color) looks great but not sure if i is a battle suited color..

na purple and gold is a bit bling! I like my armies to have subtle but effective schemes, im thinking of going with a bone colour as the primary army colour with touches of pale colour for characters etc. The idea will be that they are from a craftworld of bone singers lol

Have to say orange eldar look beautiful with white to break it up I have an army of bright orange deldar and my mate has eldar they look beautiful
