I was just having another read through some rules to refresh myself a little bit. There was something regarding grenades I just want to double check I understand it correctly.
It says that when throwing a grenade in the shooting phase, only one may be thrown per unit
In regards to using grenades in hand to hand i.e. Krak grenades, it refers to models only being able to use one grenade regardless of the number of attacks it has.
So if I used 5 points and gave an infantry squad Krak grenades then I could use 10 grenades? Similarly if a veteran squad has melta bombs then I get to use 10 melta bombs in an assault.
I just want to check that because I might change some of my tactics slightly, a blob squad of 30 guardsmen with krak grenades, would be fairly decent at taking out transports I guess.

Yep. In an Assault, every Model that has those Grenades can use them.
The restriction on shooting is just a "time of play" thing, so the Shooting Phase doesn't take an haour and half as each player throws 30+ Frag Grenades, and has to resolve all those Blasts.
