So there are people who want to drag me to GenCon next year with the expectation that we'll go as a costumed group, hence the year of prep time.
I figure the two things I can do as part of the group is be lazy and do nothing (I'm an inquisitor, you don't question my garb!) or try to make something close to an Elysian drop trooper outfit. So, I'm asking you people about what you think with aquiring and assembling the costume. What I'm going for is something like this:
I do have some ideas, like a surplus USAF jumpsuit with a few modifications, some woodwork/papier mache/styrene for armor and a bullpup nerf gun for the lasgun. I also have a climing harness that would look like the seat of the drop harness if I made a grav chute. I wanted to know if any of you know of anything that might be cool to add or use instead. Over the course of creating it, pics will follow.
