What should I get next? I already have the Cadian starter pack and 2 snipers, what would be the best things to get? (I am Intrested in Apacolypse)

Armor, Armor and more Armor... the power of the guard lays in our firepower, and thats held within our tanks. If you are willing to do forgeworld then try Earthshakers for they are cheaper then Bassies, but of course cant move. Just a suggestion...

wave upon wave of infatry backed up with commisars you put 100 las shots into a squad of smurfs or orks they gonna fry, its a bugger to paint though

Im just not to sure about them, they look cool but the different variations confuse me. Which is the right Sentinal to get?

it depends really. If you want anti tank hunters, go for lascannons. If you're playing Cadians, then autocannons are the pattern for them. The multilasers ok at taking out lightly armoured units.

To late, I already bought the Cadian sentinal and will use the heavy flamer version, or at least I think it is. Also got a heavy weapons team, by the way, which heavy weapons team is the best?

all depends on your oponent dont use the flamer combo, use the multilaser or autocannon it is better. sents in CC are toilet, and if your in flamer range there gonna charge you, a sent is a fast heavy weapon team that can move and shoot same turn, it is not and i cant stress this enough a dreadnaught if you try to use it as one it will get spanked, now what is your main oponent if it is a smurf player then auto cannons are best due to the fact, other then a land raider most smurf armour is very suseptable to it, and it kills smurf troops stone dead. how ever if they have a lot of armour its got to be las cannons, orks/guard/tau = heavy bolters, for troop killing or las cannons for armour shooting,necrons its back to auto cannons. how ever used skillfully and with a little imagination and any spare bodys from your bits box you can make a heavy gun team and either a mortar or a missle launcher team as well, the kit does allow a lot of spare bits that can be very useful,

I agree, go with the Autocannon or multilaser. For a HW team, I almost always go with Autocannons. It is a well rounded weapon with good strength and 2 shoots a turn. I try to use every weapon that comes in a HW box. Using extra soldiers and some chuncks of sprues I build tripods or walls to support the weapon. The Missile launcher does not need the support bypod but the mortar does. Use common sense and you can get alot of use out of one box.

HAHA! I can fix this prob! its a little thing called magnets. Just megnetise each wepaon and then depemding on what you fight you can just switch. I think you should get hvy wpn teams or more guardy after the sentinels.

The core rule book comes with templates of the weapon things, and the flame template looks farily good, and the flames can wound and kill multiple troops. When I built the Sentinel it was way smaller than I thought! The fact the it is so small is amazing, you could use it good in any terrain. The heavy flamer in the jungle(which its ment for) is great. Tanks suck in the jungle and the flamer is going to kill!! Also the book shows you how to make booby traps, are those good? And are craters good to make?
