Another tough one, but I voted for D, it's hte one that made me smile and achieved the 3 goals, it was a line breaker, it had a sofa (ok chair) of questionable fluids and it was all painted. Oh it's also the only one I don't feel I can name the owner  Dude, as I originally started with Imperial Guard all I can say is ZOMG I WANT ENTRY A!!!~ Teach me your ways master. I'm sure they'd be willing to give some tips once the vote is over. If not I think 2 or 3 of the entries are done by people who'll take commissions. |

I'm pleased to see that we have quite a few talented painters here on the IG forum, a bit disappointed with the number of entries, given that we had 2 months to do it.

.... a bit disappointed with the number of entries, given that we had 2 months to do it. True, although I can certainly relate as to why. Stuff comes up and people have to re-prioritise(sp?). Especially for those of us who have jobs with harsh hours, studies to be getting on with, families etc etc. I think the next one will have a bit of a twist on it.... And yes, you did notice, we did get one Armchair Of Questionable Fluids, so that entrant has automatically won the bonus prize! Congrats! Although I'm not telling you who it is as you're all still guessing, and I like it that way |

Im annoyed with myself for not entering... but seeing the competition this time im glad I didnt stretch myself to a rushed model... ive been spending all my time working on comp entries on dakkadakka and playing gta5 ... next time perhaps

Some really good entries. Can't deny that. I love this board because everyone is so humble (no trolls) yet also really talented. No one is rude for the sake of it and is always willing to help when asked. The entries this time round show why the people here should be listened to, too.
On the comments of attendance, I would like to enter more, but I don't have the allocated hobby time to paint something different. Sure I could paint something for my project that I hadn't started yet in spirit of the rules, but then (as even with some of the entries this time round) it would be very obvious that it belongs to my project and would that help the competition or not? Not sure. Maybe I will try to enter next time round so that the meaning of my feeling can be understood.

looking at the entries i'm a little less sory i didn't make the deadline.. these are all great looking models, and i am surprised they got this kind of quality done in time.. i think i might have a chance when it comes to modeling but in the way these models are painted.. i am nowhere near this level..
really a great job all of you....
(voted for the biggest and baddest gun.... the one with the half cyborg dog as a mine-sweeper... even the dog loks better than what i can do..)

Impressive entries - I think it was the light effects, rust, leaking oil, snow and the fact this is the Guard forum and we love Big Tanks that may have contributed to this win - superb painting both of you!
interesting that more entries are forgeworld or home conversions than GW.
whats next?
