GGXVII: Brushes Of Fury
"Two months is too short to paint a model"

"I'm not buying models just for this competition"
FEAR NOT! This competion is LOW IN COST, NEEDS LITTLE OR NO TIME and can be entered by absolutely EVERYONE!
Many of us have painted many lovely models pouring hours into out troops, tanks and big-ass things of destruction. Many of us have a lot of free time to dedicate to producing amazing centrepiece models, using secret techniques that appear to be witchcraft.
However, now the goal posts have changed; now it is is the time for the speed painter to shine!
THE RULES (REED DIS REEL GUD)
1. You may submit one model and one model only, from a games system of your choice.
2. This may be any model of your choice, although I recommend something small...
3. You will have ONE HOUR ONLYto spend on this model. Including drying time. Mwhahaha! (I suggest you get your stuff set up first, take your WIP picture, then set a stopwatch/timer/phone alarm) THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE UNDERCOAT as that would be quite harsh
4. After an hour, your model is done. Finito. Take a picture (whether it's wet or not) and then send them to me.
So this competition should take you about 1 1/2 hours, including setup, uploading pictures and pm'ing the links. And you can use any model
This is more 'for the laugh' than as a comment on your skills, although those that have painted infantry heavy armies might have a knack at this already. And I'm looking forward to seeing how bad some turn out
The project must be started on as of NOW (on or after this date), not something you have started already. Hence the need for WIPs. No cheating!
Submission
As usual, entries will consist of Final Finished Product (FFP) photos, preferably at least 3 (from different angles), and up to 3 WIP photos.
At least 1 WIP must be provided, to show that it was your own work! This can be during the building stage, primed, whatever.
Please send them unscripted (IE without the brackets), then I can cut & paste into the voting thread, which will save me around a week of my life

This will allow me to keep track of who’s entries are who’s and keep them all together.
You should now be aware of these requirements; anyone submitting without taking notice of this won't have their entries included in the voting thread.
Please also provide good quality photos. Borrow a digital camera with a macro setting if you must, as some mobile phone pictures do not look as good as they should. You want to do your painting justice! If we can't see your wonderful painting, how can we vote for it?
If you would like pictures cropping etc then I can do that for you, providing the quality of the original image is acceptable. I’m not photoshopping them so everyone can tell what it is… Let me know beforehand please
All entries must be submitted to myself via PM by Sunday 1st December 2013 at 24:00 Local, and as with previous competitions a separate voting thread will be created. Any entries after this will not be included. A new GG competition will be created around the same time.
The winner will receive praise, glory, and another super secret mystery prize of awesomeness. This time we have a different selection of prizes, the sum of which may be added to as the competition progresses.
