Right, well I think I've finally settled on a theme for my dated Guard regiment. I'm trying to renovate all of the dusty models I've had knocking around in boxes for years and hopefully make something original in the process. excellent scheme, very nice work.
Its also nice to see that humans in the 40,000 timeline can be other than white skinned!
...hmmm, I especially enjoyed that one; lets see what's next...

These Troopers are looking quite nice, Ivory! Your conversion of Creed is especially neat. Good color scheme all around. The only additional thing I would like to see you do with these guys is a bit of the old highlighting and shading of the lenses on their gas masks and optics on their guns where you've attached scopes and the like. Good looking stuff overall!  |

Great idea Trooper and yes, I was just thinking the same while painting the Cyclops, unfortunately my selection of foundation paints is relatively small (for the moment). I'll do a few testers and see what I can come up with  |

But what if they come across poisons that are absorbed through the skin? Won't the sergeant be filled with false courage and then die as he dies even though he had a gas mask on?  I love the painting, though Good job! |

LMFAO and yes, I was wondering how long it would take you all to slate me over this hahaha
I used to possess a gas-mask (rubber, tactical black one which provided the inspiration for my models) and you could open the mouth section to consume beverages, etc... so the idea isn't quite as ludicrous as it may seem.
Thanks once again for the positive feedback, I am tempted to try my hand at a bit of Christmas modelling (mainly finishing off the Commissar and starting on my engineer)
