V for... Vostroyan! (Female UPDATE)

She arrived Friday and yesterday I started work on her. The kit is really nice and easy to assemble, the casting is better than I thought it would be, the mold lines where easy to get rid of and not if sill hard to reach areas. I'll be getting a commissar next Friday and hopefully he will be just as good.

Not aloud to say where I got her from due to forum rules but just Google Female Vostroyan and it's easy to find.

I seriously enjoyed this model to the point that I painted her in one full sit in, I couldn't stop myself from not finishing it, so much fun!







Any tips on the bronze arm would be great as in RL it looks fine but the pictures it looks way too blingy

That is one awesome Vostie! Maybe some Devlan Mud wash (or whatever the heck it's called now). I'm still using paints from before the name switches.

Here is my second Vostroyan Female officer Not too sure on the chainsword, I might have to swap it out for the Cadian one. What do you guys think?

Haha! It's -20 degrees but we still need officers with low-cut tops..

Keep the sword, it looks ridiculous but very Vostroyan.

Your highlighting is very subtle on the face - I like it!

It was the best bit! took me ages to paint though, I just kept day dreaming whilst looking at them and then I I'd snap out of it and forget what I was doing..Evil women models!


Ok, the chain sword stays Unfortunately these two are the only Vostroyan Females I have found on the internet so far but i'll be keeping a look out for more.


@chem: I think she has a beer jacket on haha I need a better camera as her face looks better than the picture but thank you very much
